Wide Travel has been awarded Travelife Partner status. The award recognises long-term efforts with regard to Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility.
After a demanding international process Wide Travel meets more than 100 criteria. The Travelife Partner level standard covers the themes of ISO 26000 Corporate Social Responsibility, including environment, biodiversity, human rights and labour relations.
Travelife is the leading international sustainability certification for the travel industry.
With this recognition for our commitment to sustainability, it further motivates us to continue this journey and encourage our partners and suppliers to follow suit for a sustainable development of tourism.
TRAVELIFE Certification
The ECOVADIS Bronze Medal recognizes Wide’s sustainability performance.
With this recognition, the EcoVadis CSR Assessment methodology, we aim at measuring the quality of the company's CSR management system through its policies, actions and results. The assessment focuses on 21 questions that are grouped into 4 themes: Environment, labor practices and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
With this recognition, we have an extra motivation to continue our commitment to promoting and improving our sustainability performance.
ECOVADIS Certification
The ‘ESG Engaged’ distinction from Turismo de Portugal's Empresas Turismo 360° Programme is recognition for companies in the tourism sector that are committed to sustainability and have completed their ESG sustainability performance reporting.
The Tourism 360° Companies Programme encourages companies in the sector to report their sustainability performance, providing technical support in integrating ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) factors into their business strategy, management and organisational culture and guiding them through the process of regularly reporting information related to their environmental, social and governance practices.
